Billionaire Jorge Mas ready to pay $1B for Marlins

Billionaire Jorge Mas is planning to pay between $1 billion and $1.1 billion for the struggling Miami Marlins baseball franchise, according to Fox Business.
The decision isn't yet final, but Mas could announce the deal as early as Wednesday or Thursday.
Mas, whose net worth is estimated as up to $2.5 billion, is a prominent south Florida businessman.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
