Bass Pro's Pyramid store draws 3M visitors in first year

Bass Pro Shops' Pyramid store in Memphis, Tenn., drew 3 million visitors in its first year, The Commeral Appeal reports.

In its most recent reports to the city, Bass Pro reported roughly $5 million a month in sales. Through the first nine months of operation, sales totaled $44.6 million and Bass Pro paid the city $875,621 in rent.

Bass Pro signed a 55-year lease for the structure, the renovation of which cost more than $135 million. Of that, the city paid $105 million.
