Hand-tooled leather goods shop Anvil Customs LLC opened Aug. 7 at 134 Park Central West, Ste. 110. Owner Ryan Wasson signed a lease with Tillman Redevelopment LLC for 1,500 square feet in the former Woolworth building for undisclosed terms. Wasson said the downtown site facing Park Central Square serves as a manufacturing shop for Anvil Customs, which takes orders online, but customer interest prompted him to open on a monthly basis during First Friday Art Walk. Belts and wallets range from $40 to $200, with motorcycle seats and bags between $400 and $1,200. Founded in 2004, Wasson said he and Leather Production Manager Mike Shepherd make all store goods with USA-made materials. Hours: 5 p.m.–10 p.m. Friday, monthly during First Friday Art Walk. Interactive Dynamics
The App Pros LLC merged June 25 with DustShield LLC and Phoenix Kiosk Inc. to form Interactive Dynamics. Strafford-based American Products LLC acquired The App Pros for an undisclosed price in January, leading to the merger. The three companies create custom software applications, protective computer equipment and self-service kiosks, Interactive Dynamics President Jody Chaffin said. The company leases an 8,000-square-foot corporate office at 489 Evergreen Road in Strafford from American Products, and has an annual lease on a combined 1,718 square feet in The eFactory business incubator downtown. 4 Seasons Restaurant Inc.
4 Seasons Restaurant Inc. opened an Asian buffet June 29 at 300 E. Battlefield Road, the former home of Tokyo Grill. Owner Benjamin Nguyen said the 7,000-square-foot space is leased from Ngo Properties LLC. Lease terms and startup costs were not disclosed. Nguyen said the all-you-can-eat buffet specializes in Japanese cuisine priced $10 to $35 per person. The restaurant seats 160, and Nguyen said the company employs 20. Nguyen also owns Tokyo Steak House & Sushi Bar in Harrison, Ark. Hours: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and 5–10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and 5–11 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
