Trump asks Congress to end 'trivial fights'

In his first address to a joint session of Congress, President Donald Trump called on the legislature to end “trivial fights” in order to help ordinary Americans.

Themes of his speech included overhauling health care, changing the tax code and rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure and military.

According to The New York Times, Trump's speech was more optimistic than the dark themes presented in his inaugural address.
