Oak Brook, Ill.-based fast-food giant McDonald'S Corp. (NYSE: MCD) announced yesterday it would begin selling breakfast at all hours across its more than 14,000 U.S. restaurant starting Oct. 6.
The move to boost slumping sales, which has been in testing in recent months in markets including San Diego and Nashville, was approved by key franchise groups ahead of the announcement.
Producing breakfast, lunch and dinner items at the same time has been a concern, but some equipment and/or processes will need to change for restaurant operators.
