Ex-'Top Gear' hosts sign with Amazon

Posted online
Jeremy Clarkson, the controversial former host of the wildly popular BBC motoring show "Top Gear," has signed a deal for a new car show with Amazon Instant Video, along with his two former co-presenters.

Clarkson is reuniting with Richard Hammond and James May for the show.

According to USA Today, the BBC announced in March it would not renew Clarkson's contract to host "Top Gear" after he allegedly was verbally and physically abusive with one of the show's producers. British radio host Chris Evans has been named the new face of the program.
