12 People You Need to Know introduces up-and-coming professionals, businesspeople who have relocated and are building their southwest Missouri resumes, instrumental yet behind-the-scenes personnel and notable names with whom readers would like to get up close and personal. Hear their stories during a monthly breakfast. Each of the 12 are profiled in a special section, published in SBJ's year-end double issue, and are interviewed live by SBJ Editor Eric Olson at a monthly breakfast event. A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
