2022 Men of the Year: Editor's Note

Posted online

Congratulations to this year’s Men of the Year class! Springfield Business Journal started these awards in 2011, and today 240 men in our community are able to claim the title.

The award certainly recognizes professional achievements, but civic and nonprofit efforts carry equal weight. Our independent panel of judges selects men based on their own success and how they influence the success of others. The men selected have demonstrated their ability to make a positive impact – whether on a large or small scale.

It reminds me of the ripple effect each of us creates with the work we do and the ways we give back. They collectively push our community forward and sharpen the rough edges. It’s a group effort, and these 20 men are certainly a crucial part of that progress.

The staff at SBJ are proud to present this publication and to be a means to share and elevate these stories.

A special thanks to this year’s judges for giving their time in selecting this year’s class. And another round of applause to the 2022 Men of the Year!
