Then: Attorney, Ozarks Elder Law LLC
Now: Partner, The Elder Law Group LLC
Danielle Kincaid has taken matters into her own hands.
Last year, Kincaid opened her own law firm with partnering attorney Angela Myers after the two worked together at Ozarks Elder Law LLC.
Kincaid and Myers’ firm, The Elder Law Group LLC, has kept busy since they opened its doors in August 2019, she says.
“It’s really scary, but any business owner will tell you it’s scary to open your own business and hope that people show up at the door,” Kincaid says.
She currently serves on the boards for Foundation for Springfield Public Schools and Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. She’s also a member of the steering committee of Respecting Choices of the Ozarks, an organization formed to help community members make well-informed choices about end-of-life care.
When she’s not at her office, Kincaid says she’s paddling on the James River, hiking, camping or traveling.
