Project description: Springfield Public Schools broke ground this summer on the new York Elementary School. Officials say the project timeline was moved up due to financial savings among the $168 million Proposition S bond projects. Paragon Architecture LLC and Sapp Design Associates Architects PC are the project architects. Engineers are Toth and Associates Inc., structural and civil; Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Palmerton & Parrish Inc., geotechnical.
