A Sept. 11 new headquarters groundbreaking is scheduled for a Nixa-based residential and commercial contractor that will more than triple the growing company’s footprint in Christian County.
Next week’s event for Xtreme Exteriors Roofing & Siding LLC will kick off construction of a $2.6 million, 13,000-square-foot project at 1351 W. Mount Vernon St. for the 2001-founded business. The building will sit south of Victory Baptist Church near the intersection with Nicholas Road.
“If everything stays on track, we’ll definitely have it completed and ready to show in spring of ’25,” said Summer Lampe, who owns Xtreme Exteriors with her husband, Hunter.
The headquarters also will serve as a showroom for Xtreme Exteriors and include interactive display areas, large conference and gathering areas, storage spaces and a material library. Xtreme Built LLC, partially owned by Hunter Lampe, is the general contractor for the project with Insight Design Architects LLC serving as architect.
Summer Lampe said the company will maintain its 4,000-square-foot current headquarters building it owns roughly a quarter mile from the construction site.
“The current one will be just storage, parking, more of the bullpen material-type stuff,” she said, adding the new headquarters will include 21 offices, more than double its current capacity. “We have people sharing offices, a full conference room. We are very busy. The sales guys kind of work more remote now than they have just because we needed their office space.
“We were hoping we went big enough, but the growth we’ve had the last couple years, we’re hoping it does last us.”
The Lampes told Springfield Business Journal in 2021 the company had its best revenue year yet in 2020, reaching $7.5 million. Since then, Xtreme Exteriors has opened two additional locations – Goodlettsville, Tennessee and Pittsburg, Kansas – giving it a total of five in four states. Summer Lampe said it plans to add two more by spring 2025 in Sikeston and Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Xtreme Exteriors was among five local businesses that made this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation, according to past reporting. Companies are ranked based on 2020-23 percentage revenue growth, though sales figures are not disclosed. The Nixa company, which the Lampes said employs 84, debuted at No. 3,553 with 134% growth, according to the list.
Thai Garden LLC launched; Norman, Oklahoma-based Traffic Engineering Consultants Inc. opened a Springfield office; and mobile app Ozarks Connect got its start.
