Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium is once again the top U.S. aquarium, according to USA Today readers.

WOW is No. 1 in the aquarium category of USA Today's 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, according to a news release. Ten aquariums are featured on the list, including No. 2 Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans and No. 3 Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga.

“We are honored to be recognized as America’s Best Aquarium for a record-breaking sixth time since our opening in 2017. We are grateful to our guests, partners, staff and volunteers for their steadfast support,” Morris said in the release. “We hope the awareness generated by this recognition encourages even more people to visit Wonders of Wildlife, and to be reminded of the role that American sportsmen and women have played in conservation.”

WOW, which spans more than 350,000 square feet, has over 800 species of fish, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds at Sunshine Street and Campbell Avenue. The attraction has had more than 6.5 million visitors since 2017.
