Through the drive-thru distribution, students served 188 families, providing 800 bags of groceries, 560 hygiene kits, 1,000 pairs of Bombas socks, 200 bottles of detergent and goodie bags for the kids.
“We believe that we are all called to a life of service. No matter what major we choose, we should be prepared to make a difference in our community,” says Christy Rowden, Evangel activities director and coordinator of the event.

Guaranty Bank officials Aug. 26 present a $750,000 check to Habitat for Humanity of Springfield to complete needed improvements in 40 homeowner-occupied houses in Springfield. Officials say the grant will be distributed through HFHS’s home repair program, Creating Healthy Homes.
