Bye, Buckingham
Crews on March 18 raze the Buckingham Smokehouse Bar-B-Q in north Springfield. The 2415 N. Glenstone Ave. site is owned by O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC, which also operates the adjacent DoubleTree and Fairfield Inn & Suites. “We are not sure what we will do with the real estate yet but are considering options,” O’Reilly Hospitality CEO Tim O’Reilly said. O’Reilly also is behind plans for a BigShots Golf kitty-corner to the Buckingham site.
