Walmart is aiming for a carbon-neutral goal by 2040.
"We face a growing crisis of climate change and nature loss, and we all need to take action with urgency," said CEO Doug McMillon.
The company's plan calls on its facilities to be powered entirely by renewable energy by 2035. Its truck would be electric or zero-emission vehicles by 2040.
