The Virtual Savvy, which made its debut on the Inc. 5000 fast-growth list in 2021, again is the top local company in this year's rankings.
The Inc. 5000, released this week by Inc. magazine, ranks companies by three-year revenue growth, though sales were not disclosed in the report.
The Virtual Savvy, a training business for aspiring virtual assistants, ranked No. 1,408, down from No. 676 last year. The company owned by Abbey Ashley reported three-year revenue growth of 457%.
TierOne Solutions LLC, a Springfield company that provides technology solutions to businesses, primarily in network connectivity and cloud-hosted telephone systems, made its debut on the Inc. 5000, ranking No. 1,526. The company's three-year revenue growth was 421%. In a 2021 article published by Springfield Business Journal, the company reported 2020 revenue of $10.4 million.
OMG Commerce, an e-commerce and digital marketing firm that last year ranked No. 1,651, is No. 2,234 on 263% three-year growth. The 2022 list marks its fourth straight year on the Inc. 5000. SBJ reporting previously put the company's 2020 revenue at $7.4 million.
Topping the annual Inc. 5000 list is New Jersey-based BlockFi, a financial services company that reported three-year revenue growth of 245,616%.
Ariake Sushi and Robata opened; Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC) opened its newest branch in Springfield; and a longtime employee with City Utilities of Springfield went into business for himself with the launch of Van Every Drafting & Design LLC.
