Project description: Legacy Bank & Trust Co. is building a four-story headquarters on the city’s east side. Crews broke ground in June on the project, designed by BRP Architects. The building has 1,600 square feet dedicated to retail banking, along with a drive-thru. The second and fourth floors will be used for commercial and administrative banking operations, officials have said, and the third floor is slated to be leased out. Legacy Bank purchased the 2.4-acre property, which once was home to a Meek’s Lumber Co. store, after it had been listed on the market for $2.6 million. FrankZdesign LLC is the landscape architect, and engineering work on the project is by Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; and Conway Duncan Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
