Miller Engineering PC is the structural engineer for a 100-unit, four-story retirement community in south Springfield. Baron Design & Associates LLC designed the facility with wellness and resort amenities, including a health and fitness center, theater, restaurant, game room and exam room for onsite physician services. Outdoor amenities include pool and cabana, pickle ball court, putting green, vegetable gardens and walking trails. JSB Investments LLC is the general contractor. Additional engineering work is by Lee Engineering and Associates LLC, civil; and Building Systems Design Group LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to be complete in July 2021.
Dame Chiropractic LLC emerged as the new name of Harshman Chiropractic Clinic LLC with the purchase of the business; Leo Kim added a second venture, Keikeu LLC, to 14 Mill Market; and Mercy Springfield Communities opened its second primary care clinic in Ozark.
