Keller Williams office renovation
1619 E. Independence St.
Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the architect and mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for Keller Williams Greater Springfield’s new corporate office near the intersection of Independence Street and Weller Avenue. The building was the former corporate office for Mid-Missouri Bank, which is relocating to a newly constructed building just to the south. Officials say Keller Williams’ headquarters will be renovated into real estate agent offices and meeting spaces, as well as a main entrance featuring conference rooms, a coffee shop and on-the-go agent work stations. The interior offices can accommodate one agent up to a 15-person team. BP Builders LLC is the general contractor, and Toth and Associates Inc. is the civil, structural and landscape engineer. The project will wrap in August.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
