A strike was dodged in Hollywood after negotiations between the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and studios and entertainment companies.
Those employed in the industry have said previous contracts allowed for excessive work hours and low wages.
A new three-year contract was reached before the Monday strike deadline.
