My Storage LLC is planning a new storage facility off Battlefield Road and Golden Avenue.
The storage center at 3004 W. Battlefield Road will comprise six storage buildings and has an estimated value of more than $800,000, according to building permits filed with the city.
Signage at the site indicates Cowherd Construction Co. Inc. is general contractor on the project. Trent Cowherd is owner of the construction company, according to its website. He’s also the organizer of property owner Storage Stack LLC and My Storage LLC, per secretary of state and Greene County assessor records.
Cowherd could not be reached for comment by deadline.
Facility Design Group LLC also was hired on as the project architect, according to city building permits.
Two other facility addresses are listed on the My Storage website: Chesterfield Self Storage on West Kingsley Street and A&B Self Storage on West Republic Road.
Just one block away from Cowherd’s project is an indoor, climate-controlled storage facility dubbed Storage Climate Controlled at 2750 W. Battlefield Road.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
