Springfield chamber unveils 7 board nominees

The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce has seven nominees for its board of directors.

The businesspeople selected by the chamber's Directors Nominating Committee would serve three-year board terms starting in January 2025, according to a news release. Additional candidates may be nominated by chamber members by noon on Oct. 14, and if none are submitted, the nominating committee's selections will be declared elected.

The nominees are as follows:
• Aaron Burden, The French's Food Co.
• Dwayne Fulk, City Utilities of Springfield
• Laura Gates, TransLand
• Stephanie Ireland, Ireland Architects Inc.
• Nicole Jarratt, Revel Advertising
• Marshall Kinne, Med-Pay Inc.
• John Myers, Mercy Springfield Communities

Only Kinne is currently on the chamber's board, according to its website. The board has roughly 30 members.
