Spring 2021 Construction in the Ozarks

Posted online

Editor’s Note: In Springfield Business Journal’s spring project report, 15 active construction jobs represent more than $167.5 million in investments and 1.25 million square feet of new construction, additions and renovations. The past year of economic instability due to the coronavirus pandemic certainly did not shut down construction in the Ozarks. In fact, a report this month from the Associated Builders and Contractors association indicated the industry added 110,000 jobs in March, a recovery of nearly 84% of jobs lost during the early stages of the pandemic. Each of these projects began with an idea. And in this construction phase, that idea moves from dream to reality. Brick by brick, these projects represent growth and progress in the community.
