Cribb Philbeck Weaver Group Inc. is the civil engineer for two buildings spanning over 20,000 square feet for the Hollister Public Works and Police departments. The first building of the $5 million project will feature indoor vehicle parking and a work area to house heavy equipment, vehicles and electric power for welding. The Police building will be constructed by general contractor Larry Snyder and Co. with two holding cells, a dispatch office, evidence room, a booking room and an interview room. Treat Architects PC is the project architect and landscape engineer, while J&M Engineering LLC is the structural engineer and Building Systems Design Group LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. The project is expected to be completed by May 2021.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
