Project description: The shell building in south Springfield is designed with up to six tenant spaces, between 1,637 square feet and 3,400 square feet each. No tenants have been signed, said Brett Simmons, project manager with SBI. The project is a partnership of Tony Hopkins and James Tillman, the names behind THJT LLC. Ireland Architects Inc.’s modern design has large glass curtain walls to bring natural light inside.
Ariake Sushi and Robata opened; Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC) opened its newest branch in Springfield; and a longtime employee with City Utilities of Springfield went into business for himself with the launch of Van Every Drafting & Design LLC.
