Project description: Ozarks Technical Community College in February broke ground on an education center in Republic. The development is funded through a voter-approved measure from April 2018. The 7.7-acre site near the Christian County line was donated by the Bussey, Cox and Lipscomb families, and the building will be named Bussey-Cox-Lipscomb Hall in their honor. The building’s construction cost is nearly $5 million. OTC spokesman Mark Miller said the college plans to begin classes in August 2020. BatesForum LLC is the project architect.
