Project description: Mercy Springfield Communities and Pitt Development Group LLC are developing a family medicine clinic on the southwest side of Springfield to replace an adjacent office. Mercy officials say the clinic will have space for up to 10 health care providers and 30 exam rooms. At the southwest corner of Republic Road and Scenic Avenue, three houses were demolished to make way for the project. Emery Sapp & Sons is handling the site work.
