The scores have been tabulated for Springfield Business Journal’s 2019 Dynamic Dozen, recognizing the 12 fastest-growing companies in the Ozarks.

The Dynamic Dozen companies, in alphabetical order, are BP Builders LLC,  Base Construction & Management LLC, BriteCore, Burrell Behavioral Health, GigSalad, Guaranty Bank, Haven Healthcare LLC, Keller Williams Greater Springfield, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool Inc., OakStar Bank, Russell Cellular Inc. and Wilson Logistics Inc.

A countdown of company rankings to No. 1 will be announced during a May 23 reception and awards ceremony at a new venue, The Barley House at Moon Town Crossing.

Also at the ceremony, SBJ will honor five professionals with individual awards and present the Judges’ Choice Award, recognizing a company’s community achievements.

Determined by an independent panel of judges, the individual honors will be awarded in five categories:

• Top Local Executive: Tim Massey, Penmac Staffing Services Inc. CEO;
• Top Local Financial Officer: Brenda Rantz, Nixa Public Schools chief financial officer;
• Top Local Sales/Marketing Professional: Jann Holland, CoxHealth vice president of marketing and corporate communications;
• Top Local Human Resources Professional: Mailyn Jeffries, Greene County human resources director; and
• Employee of the Year: Morgan Kelly, Ozark School District’s North Elementary assistant principal.

The Judges’ Choice Award honors a company whose dynamic qualities extend beyond revenue to impact the community. Recognizing innovative growth, civic awareness and philanthropic efforts, the judges selected Prime Inc. for the 2019 honor.

The fast-growth companies are determined through a numbers-based formula that awards points for both annual revenue and percentage growth for 2016, 2017 and 2018. In their applications, eligible companies must report gross revenue of at least $500,000 in each year, and they must operate headquarters within 50 miles of Springfield.

A third party, Rayanna Anderson of the Missouri State University College of Business, verified the numbers in the Dynamic Dozen applications.

Profiles of the companies and individuals will appear in a special publication debuting at the event and distributed in SBJ’s May 27 edition.
