Springfield-based Pitt Technology Group LLC has expanded its ownership group.

Chief Operating Officer Andy Dierks has become a partner with an ownership stake in the company, effective Sept. 1, according to a news release. He joins founder Doug Pitt and General Manager Kevin Waterland in the ownership group, with their percentage stakes undisclosed.

“I'm excited to welcome Andy as a partner in PTG's ownership team," Pitt said in the release. "His dedication, insight and collaborative spirit have made him an invaluable part of the team. I look forward to the next chapter as we continue this amazing trajectory and expand PTG together.”

Dierks joined Pitt Technology Group's predecessor, TSI, in 2016 as a client lead and technician. He became vice president of operations for the information technology division in 2017, when Pitt Technology Group was formed, and became COO last year.

"I am incredibly excited and honored to join Doug and Kevin as a partner in PTG," Dierks said in the release. "Having been involved since the company's inception, I’ve witnessed firsthand the remarkable growth their leadership has fostered. I look forward to contributing to that continued success."

Pitt Technology Group's services included managed information technology support, low-voltage cabling, internet service and cloud hosting, and audio, video and lighting.

Tyler Drenon, technology strategist at Pitt Technology Group, said the 53-employee company had 2023 revenue of $10 million, up from $8 million in 2022. The company is projecting 2024 revenue of $12 million, Drenon said.
