Gov. Mike Parson appointed Marshfield resident Donna Gloe to the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
Gloe joins a nine-member board that regulates nursing education, licensure and practice, according to its website. Parson announced the appointment in a Sept. 25 news release.
Currently retired, Gloe has served as a clinical instructor for the Mercy College of Nursing at Southwest Baptist University and as director the simulation center for Missouri State University.
Gloe was among eight appointees to state boards and committees announced by Parson last week, according to the release.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
