Paddio plans additional hires in Springfield

Posted online

Paddio, the mortgage lender created last year when Veterans United Home Loans entered the market, is planning dozens of additional hires in Springfield.

The company, which operates its headquarters in Springfield at 1930 W. Bennett St., this year is seeking at least 50 new employees, including loan officers and loan specialists, according to a news release. That’s on top of 80 hires made since the launch in September, when company officials announced a target of 100 local employees.

“By focusing on purchase loans rather than riding refinance waves, we are creating jobs that can be career positions," said Ryan Kluttz, director of production for Paddio, in a September news release cited in past reporting.

Columbia-based Mortgage Research Center LLC, dba Veterans United Home Loans, is the nation's top Veterans Affairs lender, according to federal data.

On West Bennett Street, Paddio shares space in a building with Jacksonville, Florida-based One Call Care Management.
