Marketing and branding agency Supper LLC, which operates as Supper Co., launched Jan. 1 at 338 Boonville Ave. The venture is a partnership between graphic designer Josh Sullivan of Fried Design Co., and marketer Kesha Alexander of Vively Collective LLC. The two operate their own gigs on the side. They work in 1,500 square feet shared with Fried Design, she said, declining to disclose startup costs or lease terms with landlords Rick and David McQueary. Services include brand strategy, design and advertising, and the firm specializes in alcohol, cannabis, food and hospitality industry clients. Among them are Progress, Small Batch Burritos and Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Alexander said. She and Sullivan currently are working remotely, due to the city’s stay-at-home order.

Paragon Fabrication LLC
Paragon Fabrication LLC, a 1-year-old sister company to audio-video and lighting business Paragon 360 LLC, relocated March 1 to 30,000 square feet at 2855 S. Kansas Expressway. The fabrication shop was in 7,000 square feet on Paragon 360’s campus directly behind its new home. It replaced Red Racks Thrift Store, which moved in February to the former King Cash Saver building at 1707 W. Battlefield Road. Donnie Brawner, co-owner of Paragon 360 and Paragon Fabrication, said the company invested $450,000 on the building’s infill and new equipment, such as welding stations. Paragon Fabrication creates interior architecture elements through the use of aluminum and woodwork, sculpting and painting. With much work for churches, hotels and retailers, it also installs wall-mounted lights and partition walls on job sites. The company signed a five-year lease with an option to buy the building from Warren Davis Properties, Brawner said, declining to disclose financial terms. Paragon 360 owns the two other buildings on its campus.

The Big Slice LLC
New York-style pizzeria The Big Slice LLC opened its second Springfield store Feb. 21 in Kansas Corner. At 4126 S. Kansas Expressway, owner Levi Grant signed a five-year lease with D & D Properties for $4,000 per month and he spent $200,000 for infill work at the 3,000-square-foot eatery. The pizzeria debuted in 2013 on East Sunshine Street, and it hit $1 million in sales for the first time last year. For the new location, Grant brought on longtime friend Justin Kennedy as a business partner, and he plans to franchise the concept. The menu has about a dozen pizza varieties, sold by the slice for $2.75-$6.25 or as full pies priced at $15-$30. There’s The Mongo, which is loaded with meat, and the C.B.R., featuring chicken, bacon and Sriracha ranch sauce. Wings, calzones, stromboli and lasagna also are offered. While the dine-in option is temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19 concerns, the 10-employee Kansas Expressway shop offers delivery within a 3-mile radius and curbside pickup.
