Janer International LLC dba Lakeside Cabinets
Janer International LLC owner Jane Dyson opened Lakeside Cabinets on Dec. 2 at 2744 S. Campbell Ave. in The Village. The 1,600-square-foot space serves as a showroom for the 6-year-old business, which Dyson ran from her Willard home. Declining to disclose startup and lease costs, Dyson signed a two-year lease with renewal options from Magers Management Co. Dyson said Lakeside Cabinets uses 3-D design software to model stock and custom cabinetry orders with products by Stigler, Okla.-based Rosewood Industries and Seneca, Kan.-based Koch & Co. Inc. Specializing in kitchen, bath and laundry room remodeling jobs, Lakeside also sells cabinet accessories, restores cabinets and replaces countertops. As the company’s sole employee with 11 years of experience in kitchen design, Dyson works with five subcontractors. Hours: 1–7 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday and by appointment. Phone: (417) 429-7880. Web: CabinetsByLakeside.com

Dunkin’ Donuts
Father-and-son franchisees Thomas and Cory Roebuck opened a Dunkin’ Donuts store Dec. 21 at 4020 S. Campbell Ave. Organized as Ozark Donuts LLC, the Roebucks invested nearly $300,000 in franchisee fees and renovations to bring the first Dunkin’ Donuts to the Queen City since 1999. Cory Roebuck said the company has a lease on the roughly 2,000-square-foot space – formerly a Back Yard Burgers restaurant – with C&M Realty Inc. for undisclosed terms. A $40,000 franchise payment secured the territory between Harrison, Ark., and Springfield, said Roebuck, who previously worked as operations director for Silver Dollar City and White Water in Branson. Ozark Donuts is seeking a second site for the next of four planned stores to open within five years. Known for its coffee and donuts, the 85-employee Springfield store also sells sandwiches, which Roebuck said cost $5-$7 as combo meals. Hours: 5 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. Phone: (417) 881-8286.
