CMH Willard Medical Center and Walk-in Clinic
Citizens Memorial Hospital’s service footprint expanded Dec. 6 with the launch of CMH Willard Medical Center and Walk-in Clinic. The 14th medical center for CMH is at 502 S. Miller Road. BP Builders LLC was general contractor for the $3 million project, with Facility Design Group LLC as architect. The 8,500-square-foot clinic was funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which in October 2020 announced a $3 million low-interest loan for CMH Properties, a subsidiary of the Bolivar-based health care system. Led by Dr. Mylhan Myers, the medical center includes family medicine, behavioral health, obstetrics, pediatrics, women’s health, digital X-ray and laboratory services in its primary care clinic. Specialty clinic services include cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry and pulmonology. The walk-in clinic provides care for all ages.

7 Brew Coffee
Fayetteville, Arkansas-based 7 Brew Coffee made its Queen City debut with a Dec. 4 opening at 2317 N. Glenstone Ave. Chris Sebald, who lives in Springdale, Arkansas, is a franchisee in the business via Brew Crew LLC with brother Brandon Sebald and their friend Larry Wilson. He declined to disclose their investment, and the 7 Brew website doesn’t list franchise fees. Chris Sebald said the 7 Brew shops are in prefabricated buildings and have dual drive-thru lanes with a focus on iced and hot coffee, shakes, smoothies, energy drinks, teas and Italian sodas. Prices range $2-$7, according to its menu. Rebecca Brown is manager of the 50-employee Springfield shop, he said. Sebald said the franchisees have most of the state in their territory, except for Kansas City and Branson. Springfield’s second 7 Brew is planned to open in March at 1455 W. Battlefield Road, he said. Since starting in 2017, the coffee chain has expanded to 12 shops in Arkansas and one in Joplin, according to its website.

A multimillion-dollar renovation project wrapped at the Branson Landing with the Dec. 1 opening of Ramata Italian. At 1201 Branson Landing Blvd., the restaurant is adjacent to Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar, which opened in June 2020. HCW Development Co. LLC, which built and owns the outdoor retail center, is also owner of Ramata Italian. The company invested $2.5 million to renovate the building that previously housed Famous Dave’s barbecue restaurant, which moved to the Highway 76 strip. The 231-seat, 7,677-square-foot restaurant led by Executive Chef Domenic Salasso and General Manager Marion Lombardo includes a patio overlooking Lake Taneycomo, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a 500-bottle glass wine case. Ramata Italian’s menu includes pastas, pizzas and fresh fish flown in from Hawaii. Dishes such as shrimp scampi, carbonara and crispy pork chop Milanese are featured, with most entree prices ranging $14-$32.
