His son, Joshua, worked at Clarity Wireless part-time when Davis said he bought the store from L.D. and Karen Cook for less than $20,000. Davis said he’s adding some repair services for computers, televisions and other electronic devices. Phone repairs range from $40 to $150, based on type and damages. The store carries refurbished phones, such as the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Note, and sells data packages through AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile from $12 to $70 a month, Davis said. Clarity Wireless leases the 980-square-foot space from L.D. Cook Family Properties LLC on a monthly renewal for $1,300 a month. The store currently has five part-time employees.
