A hip joint Willard
The July 9 opening of A hip joint Willard LLC marked the fourth chiropractic clinic for the company launched in 2016 by Drs. Eric and Tania Reavis. A hip joint’s latest clinic is at 100 E. Jackson St. in Willard. Tania Reavis said she and her husband bought the 1,500-square-foot building for an undisclosed price from Renee Owen, who owned and operated Wildflower antique store out of the space until March. Startup costs for the clinic were around $35,000, Reavis said, adding the investment included a new roof and HVAC. The Willard clinic’s launch follows the health care practice’s first franchise location, which opened in February. LeAnne Aust is owner and franchisee of the Nixa clinic, while the Reavises own the other three, including two in Springfield. A hip joint clinics offer chiropractic, massage and acupuncture services. Reavis said she’s the sole full-time employee at the Willard clinic, which also has three massage therapists as independent contractors.

The Brook Wellness Center
After opening its first Taney County treatment facility in 2018, The Brook Wellness Center Inc. added a second location May 3 in Branson West. The new office for the faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by husband and wife Stan and Rosie Robinson is at 10944 E. State Highway 76 in Claybough Plaza. Rosie Robinson said Brook Wellness Center signed a three-year lease for an undisclosed rate with Kathy Verweire. Startup costs for the 13-employee treatment center, which fills 3,000 square feet, was roughly $20,000, Robinson said. Brook Wellness Center’s services include drug and alcohol assessments, psychological evaluations, anger management classes and individual therapy for children. Robinson said expanding from the first treatment facility at 895 State Highway 248 in Branson was desired to better serve the surrounding counties as the nonprofit works with the state Children’s Division to help the family reunification process.
