Old Missouri Bank's Ash Grove branch has been remodeled to reflect its importance in the "bank's success," according to a company executive.

The Springfield-based banking company announced in a news release the completion of renovations at 218 N. Webster Ave. in the city northwest of Springfield. It is one of Old Missouri Bank’s eight full-service branches.

"The Ash Grove community has always been a big part of our bank’s success and we felt it was important to have this facility reflect that," said Joey Orr, executive vice president of community banking, in the release. "We love being a part of the Ash Grove community and look forward to serving it for years to come.”

Williams Construction served as lead contractor for the work. An architect was not brought on board for the exterior remodeling project, which was completed for undisclosed terms, said Madison Foster, the bank’s marketing coordinator.

Renovations included replacing all windows, brick painting, improving the structure's front columns, and restriping and sealing the parking lot, according to the release. An interior remodel of the Ash Grove branch was completed in September 2017.

OMB took on the branch in 2014 through the acquisition of Bank of Ash Grove, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.

OMB’s assets, as of June 30, were roughly $988 million, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data.
