Paragon Architecture LLC promoted Jared Younglove to technical director from senior project manager. With experience including commercial, educational, civic, industrial, medical, religious and financial projects, he has worked in architecture in southwest Missouri since 2002.

Arts
Springfield Ballet Inc. hired Andrew Parker as artistic director. He previously served in the same position for Chattanooga Ballet in Tennessee and in his 30-year ballet career has taught at Canada’s National Ballet School, Southern Methodist University and Nashville Ballet. A former professional dancer, Parker was trained at Cambridge School of Ballet and Boston Ballet School.

Education
Clif Petty was named interim dean for the Breech School of Business at Drury University for a two-year term. He holds an MBA from Baylor University and worked as a corporate banker before entering teaching. Petty, a management professor, has worked at Drury since 1993.

Missouri State University hired Jeff Coiner as chief information officer, effective July 8. He’s director of information systems for the city of Springfield, where he manages a $5 million budget. At MSU, Coiner will oversee systemwide planning, management, security and coordination of technology resources and support ongoing digital transformation efforts. He succeeds the retired Jeff Morrissey.

Evangel University hired Samantha Tyler as human resources director. She has 12 years of experience in HR, including stints with Springfield Public Schools and Prime Inc., and earned her bachelor’s in business administration from Evangel.

Springfield Public Schools named Kirk Slater as Jarrett Middle School principal, effective July 1. He’s worked for 11 years as assistant principal for Hillcrest High School. Slater also has taught math and coached at Glendale High School and the Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Texas.

Drury named Jennifer Joslin as the inaugural director of the Robert and Mary Cox Compass Center, effective July 1. She has served as associate director for the 14,000-member Nacada: The Global Community for Academic Advising, where she performed training and developed curricula for advisers and administrators. Drury’s Compass Center connects incoming students with a team of advisers to work with students while enrolled.

Health Care
Loehr Chiropractic & Acupuncture LLC added Jennifer Williams as a traditional Chinese acupuncturist. With master’s degrees in five-element acupuncture and oriental medicine from MSU, she has 10 years of experience working with a seventh-generation acupuncturist and herbalist from China.

Renee Meyer was named chief financial officer for Citizens Memorial Hospital and Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation, effective January 2020. She’ll succeed Gary Fulbright, who is replacing the retiring Donald Babb as CEO and executive director. Meyer has 27 years’ experience at CMH.

Municipal
Springfield Police Department officer Anthony Cendejas received the Officer of the Year Award from the Rotary Club of Springfield-Southeast. With the department since 2017, he was recognized for work ethic, commitment to the law enforcement profession and being proactive in his efforts to combat crime in the community.

Supplier
International Division Inc. added Celeste Skidmore as a USA accountant. She previously worked as general manager and executive vice president for ADsmith Marketing and Advertising.
