Robinson and Co. LLP partner Kyle Thompson was awarded the Accredited in Business Valuation credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a bachelor’s in accounting and a master of accountancy from Missouri State University.

Education
Cheryl Huson, a principal for Nixa Public Schools, was named Youth Mental Health Advocate of the Year by Burrell Behavioral Health. Huson manages Nixa’s Second Chance of Receiving an Education high school program, and she is the inaugural recipient of the award.

Government
Missouri Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick was named a Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellow for the program’s sixth cohort. The education policy fellowship brings together 23 bipartisan leaders to examine state-level education policy over the next nine months. The program, launched in 2014, is named after Jim Hunt and Tom Kean, former governors of North Carolina and New Jersey, respectively.

Health Care
Integrity Home Care LLC promoted Nathan Barnes to chief administrative officer. He joined the company in March 2018 to lead the information technology and project management team, and now is over the human resources department, overseeing HR administration, benefits, employee development and recruiting.

Ozarks Neurological Foundation Inc. donated $30,000 to the CoxHealth Foundation to benefit the CoxHealth ALS Clinic. The funds were raised during the ONF Golf Tournament at Highland Springs Country Club, and the donation was made in memory of the late Ronald Pringle.

Mercy received $496,349 in U.S. Department of Agriculture Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grants for a virtual project for hospitalists, emergency care, stroke and neurology services in a four-state area. Mercy Springfield Communities’ hospitals benefiting from the grant funds are in Aurora, Cassville and Mountain View.

Law
Missouri Lawyers Media selected Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown PC for its Top Legal Innovation Award for its emerging medical marijuana law practice. The award salutes firms and attorneys that identify and support a practice area in an emerging legal field and are among the first to develop expertise.

Schmidt, Kirby & Sullivan PC associate attorney Matthew Schmidt was named a shareholder. He practices in the areas of estate planning and elder law, probate, trust administration, business organization and transactional law.

Logistics
SRC Logistics Inc. added Zach Jones as director of operations and Vicki Cline as director of sales and marketing. Jones has 20 years of experience in operations and engineering, most recently overseeing manufacturing operations for Gardner Denver. Cline has 30 years of experience and most recently worked as the vice president of client services for Mihlfeld & Associates Inc.

Manufacturing
Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co. made three executive promotions: Michelle Heidt to senior vice president and chief financial officer, Steve Williams to vice president of operations and John Richardson to vice president of sales.

Retail
Springfield Sign and Graphics Inc. named Kristy Chastain as chief financial officer, the first to hold the position with the company. She most recently served as vice president and private banking relationship manager for Commerce Bank.
