BKD LLP promoted Ashley Mueller, Cara Stewart and Amanda Wieberg to senior consultants, and Steven Bard and Lance Watson to outsourcing senior associates. Mueller is a member of the accounting outsourcing services team and holds a bachelor’s in accounting Missouri State University. A member of the firm’s national health care group, Stewart holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from MSU. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from MSU and a forensic accounting certificate, Wieberg is involved in the firm’s nonprofit, higher education and public sector group of consulting. Bard and Watson are members of BKD’s accounting outsourcing services team. Bard holds a bachelor’s in accounting and finance from Drury University, and Watson has 10 years’ experience with financial statements and business taxes as well as working as a company controller for eight years.

Multipli Credit Union added Greg Cox as vice president of commercial and real estate lending and as a member of the executive management team. Cox has owned two companies and began his career with Invesco Mutual Funds. He holds a bachelor’s in psychology/sociology from Southwest Baptist University.

Law
Carnahan Evans PC, recently rebranded from Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown PC, named David K. Olive and Andrew T. Peebles as shareholders and hired Robyn A. Horton, Kirk A. Kaczmarek and Robert E. Petrowsky as attorneys. Olive is a member of the transactional and estate planning practice groups and holds a Juris Doctor from MU, as well as a master’s in taxation law from Washington University in St. Louis. A member of the firm’s estate planning practice, Peebles holds a Juris Doctor from University of Missouri. Horton serves as of counsel attorney, concentrating in Medicaid eligibility and asset protection planning, health and disability law, among other areas. She’s a 20-year staff attorney at Legal Services of Southern Missouri and has served as a judicial clerk in the Missouri Court of Appeals, as well as an adjunct professor in health services law at SBU. Kaczmarek is an associate in the litigation/dispute resolution and transactional practice groups, representing business clients in state and federal court. He holds a Juris Doctor from University of Richmond in Virginia. Petrowsky is an associate in the firm’s estate planning and transactional practice groups, concentrating on tax, estate planning, business transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He previously practiced M&A law in Denver and holds a Juris Doctor from University of Denver, along with an executive master’s in taxation law from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Attorney Jessica Ward joined Appleby Healy Attorneys at Law PC. She most recently served as a special assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Missouri and previously worked as unit manager and assistant attorney general for the state of Missouri, managing the financial services, recovery division in the Springfield and Kansas City attorney general offices. With a Juris Doctor from University of Missouri, Ward also ran her own law practice for two years.
