Jacqueline Post was hired as chief growth officer at Volt Credit Union after working 10 years in marketing at BluCurrent Credit Union. She’s focused on strategic planning, enhancing user experience, culture development branding, digital marketing, event planning and community outreach.

Edward Jones financial adviser Bill Scorse accepted an invitation to become a limited partner in The Jones Financial Cos. LLLP, the firm’s St. Louis-based holding company. He’s been with Edward Jones since 2016, and the move represents the firm’s 18th limited partnership offering in its 100-year history.

Education
The Republic School District Board of Education promoted Lauren Goddard to director of special education for the 2023-24 school year, succeeding the retiring Meredith Morris. Goddard, the department’s assistant director since July 2022, previously worked in the Pleasant Hill School District during her 14-year career in education.

School of the Ozarks professor Abbey Vogt was selected as the Central Bank/KRZK Out of This World Teacher of the Month for January. The student or peer-nominated award is given to a teacher from Taney or Stone County for excellence in the classroom. Vogt has taught at School of the Ozarks for 11 years of her 24-year career.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital added Tara Billingslea, a mental health nurse practitioner, to the staff at the recently opened CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic. She holds a bachelor’s in nursing and a master’s in psychiatric mental health nursing from Cox College. With 10 years of mental health experience, she also holds an associate degree in health administration from University of Phoenix and a licensed practical nursing degree from Ozarks Technical Community College.

Allyssa Dedmon, a licensed professional counselor, joined CMH to work at its Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center and the school-based therapy team with the Dallas County Family Medical Center. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Drury University, a master’s in human development and family science from University of Missouri-Columbia, and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Evangel University.

Tourism
Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau Inc. selected recipients for the 2023 Salute to Travel & Tourism Awards: Mike Crocker, executive director of Dickerson Park Zoo and an employee since 1976, for the Tracy Kimberlin Pinnacle Award; Stephanie Hein, a recently elected state representative and retired head of Missouri State University’s Department of Hospitality Leadership, with the Diplomat Award; the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions for the Ambassador Award; international-performing opera tenor Michael Spyres for the Spotlight Award; and the History Museum on the Square with the Hospitality Award. Honorees will be recognized at a banquet in April.

Nonprofit
Council of Churches of the Ozarks Inc. named Amanda Long as vice president of advancement. For the past five years, she’s served as chief development officer at Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri and has about a dozen years of nonprofit experience.
