The Mansfield R-IV School District is preparing for the start of a new superintendent this summer.

Clint Hall, currently junior and high school principal in Gainesville, is scheduled to become Mansfield's superintendent on July 1, according to a news release. He was offered a two-year contract by the school board at its Dec. 30 meeting.

"I’m grateful for the opportunity to join the Mansfield School District, and I’m looking forward to meeting faculty, administrators, staff and community members,” Hall said in the release. “I’m excited for us to work as a team in providing our students with the greatest environment and experiences for learning.”

As Mansfield's superintendent, Hall succeeds Richard Wylie, whose contract ends this summer, according to reporting by the Springfield News-Leader.

The district comprises roughly 660 students, according to data on file with the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
