A Branson theater property is making way for a new entertainment business.
Star Concert Hall, owned by Donnie Frizzell and Jim Kelly, is scheduled to open Aug. 9, according to information provided by the owners through Vietti Marketing Group. Frizzell is a veteran music producer for events involving bands such as The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Kelly owns Branson's Wild World and Retromania.
The owners said they recently finalized the purchase of the 3750 W. 76 Country Blvd. property for undisclosed terms and have conducted renovations to the facility. They declined to disclose the seller.
"The property boasts a rich history, adding a layer of intrigue and authenticity to the venue. Its size is perfectly suited for Branson, balancing financial viability with economic potential," the owners said in an emailed statement. "The new venue will be a multiplex entertainment facility, catering to a wide range of audience interests."
The owners say Star Concert Hall would bring "national artists of all genres back to Branson." Additionally, a secondary space called Studio B is set to open in March 2025, operating as a club and outdoor grill restaurant.
Star Concert Hall's website lists a show scheduled Dec. 7 from all-vocal country group Home Free called "Any Kind of Christmas." Fall announcements are slated to go live on Aug. 9.
A real estate listing on LoopNet.com indicates the property spans nearly 33,000 square feet.
