New dispensary opens in Branson

Ann Arbor, Michigan-based C3 Industries, which entered the Springfield marijuana market earlier this year, has set up shop in Branson.

The company's High Profile dispensary brand today starts serving customers at a new shop in Branson, according to a news release. The dispensary is located at 3125 Green Mountain Drive, the former home of the Jurassic Land attraction.

"This opening marks our ninth store in Missouri and a significant milestone as our 25th nationwide,” C3 Industries co-founder and President Vishal Rungta said in the release. “High Profile Branson, our latest dispensary, is located in the scenic Ozark Mountains and the vibrant heart of live entertainment. Branson's unique blend of natural beauty and bustling tourism makes it an ideal location for our expansion in Missouri."

High Profile Branson is running a series of specials for its grand opening, and the dispensary is partnering with Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub on a karaoke contest with cash prizes available, according to the release.

In January, C3 Industries took over the state dispensary licenses for The Farmer's Wife and rebranded the locations as High Profile, according to past reporting. The deal included a dispensary in Springfield at 2935 E. Chestnut Expressway.
