President Donald Trump has appointed Jim Macy to lead the Environmental Protection Agency's Region 7 office that oversees operations in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
“With decades of experience working to protect our energy and environment, Jim Macy is the right person at the right moment to lead Region 7,” EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said. “I am proud to have him on team EPA and know that he will help exceptionally implement President Trump’s agenda across the region.”
Macy led the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy for nine years until his retirement from that role last year.
