“A job site is like conducting an orchestra and you have all of these moving parts, all at the same time, with some guy making sure that everyone is playing the right piece of music at the right time, and he could just make a job site sing. It was just amazing,” says Travis Miller, Owner and Senior Structural Engineer with Miller Engineering. Miller says Jim Smith, a construction superintendent with Carson-Mitchell Inc. taught him many valuable lessons. Miller says the things he learned from his coworkers helped him become who he is today.
