A mother and son duo this week are debuting a new marketing firm for small businesses.
Michele Delcoure said via email that Feb. 15 is the official launch date for DIY Marketing Strategies for Small Business. She co-founded the firm with son Triston Delcoure.
“At DIY Marketing Strategies, we believe that every entrepreneur has the ability to create their own high-quality marketing plan when given the right tools,” Michele Delcoure said in a news release. "Our mission is to level the playing field by giving small businesses the tools and expertise they need to build a marketing plan specific to their business so they can compete with the larger competitors.”
DIY Marketing Strategies' services include a $350 online course to help small-business owners craft personalized marketing strategies. Delcoure said she would handle promotion and sales, while her son would assist clients who need more help than the online course.
"Triston is a freelance marketer in addition to this. He specializes in paid ads," Delcoure said via email. "It can be challenging doing both, but I know that Triston is great at what he does."
Delcoure said she would maintain her full-time job at CNH Reman while also running DIY Marketing Strategies with her son. Her LinkedIn account indicates she's marketing manager at CNH Reman.
Delcoure declined to disclose startup costs for DIY Marketing Strategies, but noted the company has been building followers and growing contacts since August 2023. Michele Delcoure and Triston Delcoure are the firm’s lone employees.
