Andrew McCabe, a 23-year veteran and former acting director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, filed suit against the agency and the Department of Justice.
McCabe is seeking his full pension and health care benefits after he was fired by President Donald Trump last year.
McCabe alleges he was illegally terminated as part of a plot by the Trump administration to get rid of FBI and DOJ employees were were not politically loyal to him.
