The St. Charles-based manager of three local senior-living centers announced a partnership with a health care service provider.
Arrow Senior Living entered an agreement with St. Louis-based EmpowerMe Wellness to provide on-site therapy, laboratory testing, pharmacy and medical oversight for residents of The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield, The Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa and The Township Senior Living in Battlefield, according to a news release.
“The future of health care – especially when it comes to senior living – is value-based and outcome-driven," said Josh Stevens, founder and CEO of EmpowerMe Wellness, in the release. “We are passionate about improving the lives of seniors and we look forward to becoming an invaluable resource to Arrow Senior Living’s communities.”
The company is slated to staff clinicians at the local properties under the agreement. Services are covered by Medicare and other insurers.
EmpowerMe Wellness has a presence in around 400 senior-living communities in more than 20 states, according to the release. The company recently closed a $100 million financing round, according to reporting by the St. Louis Business Journal.
All three of the local senior-living communities were developed by Springfield-based O’Reilly Development Co., according to its website and past reporting.
