Magnum Moon finishes near last in Kentucky Derby

After winning the $1 million Arkansas Derby, Magnum Moon fell short in the Kentucky Derby.

The horse owned by Prime Inc.'s Robert Low placed 19th out of 20 in the Kentucky Derby.

The winner, Justify, broke a 136-year-old curse. Justify is the first horse since Apollo in 1882 to win as a three-year-old without racing as a two-year old.

I see you have quoted an article from Forbes concerning Magnum Moon , that article is correct but can be misleading. I don't think it's fair to the Low's, Magnum Moon or his fans. The rest of the story is Magnum Moon one of the favorites and Mendelssoln also one of the favorites ran into each other shortly after the gates opened. It knocked the wind out of both horses. The jockeys realized there wasn't a chance to win and held up on the horses fearing injury. Both of these horses are world class , now you have the rest of the story.
